BLAST
About the Event
Every May, Cleveland SCORES ends the school year with BLAST—a high-energy tournament and celebration that honors the growth and leadership of our older Poet-Athletes.
Designed for Middle School Program students (Grades 6-8), our annual BLAST event combines friendly soccer competition with creative expression and original poetry, providing our Poet-Athletes with the opportunity to showcase their skills on the field and share their voices off it.
BLAST is the perfect finale to a season of hard work, creativity, and collaboration—and a reminder to everyone who attends that every SCORES student is a leader.

Become a Volunteer or Sponsor
BLAST wouldn’t be possible without our incredible volunteers and community partners, who help referee games, lead activities, cheer on students, and sponsor the event. Whether you’re a soccer fan, community leader, or first-time volunteer, we’d love for you to get involved!
To learn more about volunteer and/or sponsorship opportunities, please contact Kloby Reddy, our program director, at program@americascorescleveland.org.
