At Cleveland SCORES, we work hard to create opportunities for youth from historically marginalized communities. Our after-school programs combine poetry, soccer, and service to help kids have fun while learning important life skills—so they can succeed on and off the field.
Our mission is to inspire youth to lead healthy lives, be engaged students, and have the confidence and character to make a real difference in the world.

After two decades of impact, we remain committed to empowering youth in communities that need us most. Through our partner schools, we’re building a generation of confident Poet-Athletes who use their unique voices to create positive change. We call this vision the Poet-Athletes Movement—and your support makes it all possible.
