Young Poet-Athletes Take Center Stage at POETRY SLAM!

On Tuesday, November 14, 18 SCORES Core (3rd – 5th grade) teams took the stage at Waetjen Auditorium at Cleveland State University to perform the original poems they wrote throughout the season. Poem topics ranged from the beauty of the seasons and the fun of the holidays to celebrating who our poet-athletes are and where they came from. It was an inspiring night!
